Description 
The MIMES Program offers minority undergraduates a 12-week summer paid internship opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina in which students will work closely with expert research mentors to design and complete individualized rigorous scientific projects, take classes, participate in field work, and ultimately present their work at a conference-style colloquium.
Qualifications 
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents, represent underrepresented minority ethnicities, be majoring in a science discipline, have a GPA in their major courses of at least 2,.5 and 2.0 overall.
