Participants experience a unique combination of multidisciplinary research, educational programs, and fun team-building activities. Participants are involved in ongoing research programs in the field of nanotechnology with applications to environmental monitoring, early disease detection, and energy efficiency.
Applicants should be rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior undergraduate students majoring in science, engineering, or mathematics. Underrepresented persons, women, and U.S. Armed Forces veterans from West Virginia and throughout the Appalachian region (northern Mississippi to southern New York) are especially encouraged to apply.
