Description: Interns work toward independence on projects sculpted from ongoing research in neurobiology, molecular/cellular/developmental biology, biochemistry and genomics. Typically, students use marine model systems such as horseshoe crabs, lobsters, mollusks, cnidarians and non-marine invertebrates. In addition to individualized projects, students participate in specialty classes, field trips and beach fun.
Qualifications: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are currently enrolled in a prebaccalaureate program.
