Description: The program is sponsored by the EMSI, at the University of Notre Dame. The
scientific mission of the Institute is to provide a molecular-scale
understanding of heavy-metal and actinide interactions with nano- and
micro-particles in the environment, and to determine how these particles affect
contaminant transport in geologic systems.
Qualifications: Applicants must be undergraduates take relevant subjects and US citizens or
permanent residents at the time of application
