Description: The 10-week summer
REU program in Environmental Signal Transduction at Western Michigan
University provides (1) a mentored independent research experience, (2)
a discussion series on the process of science, (3) discussions on
scientific ethics and integrity, (4) an introduction to international
opportunities and (5) an opportunity for interaction and dissemination.
Qualifications: Be a U.S. citizen who is
a sophomore or junior with at least 20 hrs of sciences courses taken.
Minimum GPA requirement is 2.75. Applications from underrepresented
groups are strongly encouraged.
