Description: CPIMA is a partnership between Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis and IBM Almaden Research Center. Students work on independent research projects involving direct interaction with research scientists, post-doctoral scholars, and graduate students. All SURE students get together for a few events: a Graduate School Workshop, Career Day and the CPIMA Forum. The Forum is a one-day technical meeting where students listen to research talks and present posters of their summer research alongside CPIMA graduate students and post-doctoral researchers.
Qualifications: continuing undergraduate student, U.S. citizen or legal resident, interest in graduate school in science or engineering, majoring in physical science, engineering or related field
