Description: The mission of the Center for Environmental Kinetics Analysis (CEKA), a NSF-funded Environmental Molecular Science Institute at Penn State, is to promote a deeper understanding of the rates of environmental reactions from the molecular to the planetary scale. The REU experience combines research in CEKA faculty labs, field trips, professional development seminars and a summer research mini-symposium.
Travel support is generally not provided except in cases of financial need.
Qualifications: Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Candidates should be between their sophomore and junior years or junior and senior years to be considered for acceptance.
