Description 
The REU site at Alabama A&M University (AAMU) is an international program, providing an eight-week research experience to undergraduates. Students spend several days at AAMU and seven weeks at Nanjing Forestry University (NFU) in China. The program focuses on ecological and environmental research of the urbanizing landscape of Nanjing Province.
Qualifications 
1. U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and who will return to their studies in Fall 2014. 2. In good physical condition 3. Possess a valid driver's licence 4. Possess a U.S. Passport with at least 12 months until expiration​ 5. Have a current GPA 3.0 or above​ 6. Have a willingness to travel overseas and experience a new culture​ 7. Interested in pursuing an advanced degree (Master or PhD) in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related fields upon completing a bachelors degree.
